今年1-6月，玛莎拉蒂的销量与去年同期相比暴跌了50%以上，仅为6,500辆，调整后的营业亏损8200万欧元。而Stellantis首席执行官卡Carlos Tavares也在此前表示：“如果他们不赚钱，我们就会关闭他们。我们不能承受不赚钱的品牌。”

另据Stellantis集团在7月30日发表声明表示，其仍致力于将玛莎拉蒂保留在其投资组合中里；并透露：“Stellantis重申了对玛莎拉蒂美好未来的坚定承诺，玛莎拉蒂是14个Stellantis品牌中独一无二的豪华品牌。”

另据海外媒体透露证券投资公司，玛莎拉蒂销量下滑多少有些令人意外，因为目前的GranTurismo与其替代车型相比有很大不同。而入门级Grecale SUV有望成为该品牌的畅销车型，并帮助其实现100,000辆的年销量；而Quattroporte和Ghibli轿车的换代工作也仍在缓慢的进行中。
